    Default importing solids into 3dsmax5 - solids coming out see thru?

    i know this is a cad forum, but someone here must know how to fix this problem - i imported a file into 3dsmax5 - its all solids - but the solids are transparent! Is there a setting that i am missing or something?

    Thanks for helping me, i am new to 3dsmax!

    You may want to change the display setting for the view, so as to shade/render the objects.

    When rendering, check the "Force two sided" check box. The rendering time will be longer.
    A better solution for advanced users would be to flip the normals of the transparent surfaces.
    It's nice to be nice, but sometimes is nicer to be evil!.
