DaveSieg
Here's my situation: On my computer, there are 5 layers from a referenced file that do not display. Opening the referenced file separately also reveals that these layers do not show up. In both cases, the 5 layers are ON and unfrozen within the layer manager. On a co-worker's computer, there is no problem within these files. The 5 layers appear as they should. We are both running AutoCAD 2007, and are loading the files from the same network directories. What are the possible causes for only 5 of the many layers to NOT be showing up on my screen? Thanks, Dave
Cad64
What are on these layers? Where did this referenced file originate? Was it from a source outside your office that was maybe using Architecture or Civil 3D or some other vertical product? Make sure you have all the available object enablers and service packs loaded on your machine.
DaveSieg
The referenced file is topography from a surveyor, which started out as a Microstation (.dgn) file. We had to convert it to .dwg for the purposes of the client. The layers in question are contour lines/text. How do I compare the differences in object enablers/service packs that are installed between the two office computers?
