AutoCAD LT 2002 Crosshair problem

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help

A colleague of mine has a small office using LT 2002

They have bought 2 Dell Dimension 9100 Pc's an don these machines the crosshairs tend to lock up intermittently whilst doing work on a drawing.
They do return to normal after a few seconds but it is a strange problem

Any ideas would be welcome
