petrading
Hello every1, I'm new here, so hopefully this thread is in the right section. This is what I'm looking for: how to make dimension for the slope. As what I'd attached, I just wanna put dimension on the 2 magenta colored lines (I dont know what to call it, so I just call it the slope). No matter how I put it, the dimension will only show the measurement flat on X-axis or Y-axis instead of the true length.
ReMark
Reorient your UCS and try again.
Patrick Hughes
Dimensions (most all geometry) are always created on the current x-y plane. You need to adjust th UCS before creating the dimension. Remember to reset to WCS when done.

Patrick Hughes
I see you are now a Quantum Mechanic, so this must be how you do it - by bending the space-time continuum.
ReMark
Not only do I bend the space-time continuum I also bend steel in my bare hands. Paperclips are amazingly pliable.
