BuntyBunty
Greetings, I am working on a drawing where I have doors blocked along with their door schedule numbers. When I explode the doors to edit them along with their numbers everything seems fine. However when I try to write a PDF of the drawing a black rectangle shows up where the door number in the block was. Does anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them, I think they might be something along the lines of a wipeout as in the drawing they block out things behind them. Many thanks. BB. rocneasta
type wipeout - f for frames and set them on - if you see the wipeouts you can then delete them accordingly... not quite sure if it's the case of a wipeout, but try it
dbroada
One of the reasons I never used to use wipeouts was because they left big black boxes on PDFs. I have now noticed that this is only true of some PDF plotters and fortunately the AutoCAD inbuilt one is one that doesn't exhibit that fault. BuntyBunty
Hi guys, thanks for your input. The wipeout frames thing worked a treat and I got rid of them. FYI if you want to keep them without getting the black boxes when writing a PDF; PDF995 does the trick and they don't show up. But if using Primo PDF then they do. Don't really know about Adobe though. Cheers. BB.
