    AutoCAD 2010.
I have an attached pdf reference attached to my autocad file. It is for back ground.
In 2010 you can fade the pdf attachment on screen. How can I print that pdf
attached with fade? Is that possable?

    Thank you,

If it's a vector PDF, then no. If it's a raster PDF, then try putting it on a layer with a color that has a dithered screening percentage in the Plot Style. This works with me for TIFF.

A vector PDF is one that's created directly from AutoCAD. A raster PDF is a document that's been scanned in, sort of like an image. Converting the PDF to TIFF will actually be your best option. I know for a fact you can screen a TIFF image where it's "faded" when you plot.

Never tried. Since we've all upgraded to 2010 we've ridden 2009, or at least I did since. I doubt it tho....
