Im currently using Autocadd LT 2009 and my scroll button dont work for pan. I mean I can not pan using the hold-scroll button. I've check the properties of the mouse, seems fine. I had the same problem way back when I changed to a Logitech wireless mouse. In addition, check the mouse settings outside of AutoCAD.
