    Default How to Calc Coordinates&elevation

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

HI Don't even know if I get the right question.

I now have a survey drw which shows th Elevation points and coordinates of present and proposed bridge structure as well as the roadway. I also have a bridge x-section which shows the slope of the x-section. I do have the profile DRW which shows the Station and elevation of Baseline of this bridge(the baseline is on the survey drw too.).

my boss want me to calculate the elevation of several working points from these three plots. I can do it by hand but just need to find the way to do it in Autocad.

How to calculate the elevation of working point based on the baseline and proposed crossection and then generate a report?

    Thanks

Yea, maybe we should start a forum on advanced bridging in AutoCAD.

Better yet..there are cad products out there designed to this type of work...

Eg, Civilcad, LDD to name a couple ... doing thin in autocad would the same as doing it on paper (MANUALLY)

    Please don't talk like that!
Doing CAD by paper is horrifying...

LMAO, although it wouldn't technically be "Computer"-aided, then right?
