    Default 3d align command?

    Hi,

I'm using ACAD2002, but could be on 2004 soon.

I've used the ALIGN command in the past to align (rotate and scale) 2d parts of maps.

I just tried this command on 3d data and it flattened everything to the z value of the target data of the ALIGN (which was z = 0).

How can I get this data to fall in place without losing all the z values? Is there a switch in ALIGN I should be setting, or a better command altogether?

    TIA,

    Rob

The align command shouldn't be flattening anything if you use the 3 source and 3 target points correctly.
Yep 3 of each for 3D work makes it more accurate..
