hey everyone, i am new to this, i would like to know if anyone here knows how to do construction drawings for a cam and follower in 2d.

well, i am trying to help a friend, i would like to know how, i have the basic idea and i have done it before way back wen but i cant remember how to project the lines out and how its done within the circle after i have made the graph profile. there is a little trick to it, but i cant seem to remember, if you have a drawing already done you can send it , i just wana see how its constructed to i can develope a profile of my own. thanks

Software like Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks have cam gereration in them. You can define the follower path and it will create the cam. Sorry I dont have any tricks for this. What kind of cam/follower setup is this?
