castellated steel floor beam? or not

i'm not an architect, i'm a first year part time student, i don't work for an architect either so trying to draw sections through buildings is proving a case of trawling the internet.

can any one shed light on where they go for more drawings like this...

and finally can or would you use a castellated steel beam for a first floor?

My book of choice is Architectural Graphic Standards by Wiley but it is an American book.

 

Then too I can walk into any home building supply store here in the U.S. and see a couple hundred books on display covering every aspect of construction and renovation.

What floor system/kind of structure do you want to use Castellated beams with??? I've only used them in parking garages as alternates for P.T. concrete. As of now (25 years or so experience), I have never designed a structure with these beams.

 

Stick with Remark and Tankman, they always have good advice.
