    Default Date Stamp (Rtext?)

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I've had two jobs with the same problem that pops up....
We have a date stamp, something to do with Rtext (?), when the drafters plot a file everything is ok, when an Engineer plots the date stamp only shows a rectangle with diagonals across corner to corner.
Is there a setting missing or something that needs to be loaded?
    Thanks All

Does the Engineer have some communicable disease? No, that's not what I meant. Is the engineer using an Lt version, or not have Express Tools installed? ' Rtext' is an Express Tools feature.

Carls right, you have to have "express tools" installed in order to read the stamps.

If you would like to help my 2 year old niece Alaina in her battle against Leukemia you can donate blood at any Carter Blood Care and put SPON050875 on the donor form. Thank you so much for any contributions in this matter that you can make.

Sorry Express Tools was not it. The other drafter has Express Tools loaded and we are using the same system, CAD 04, (sorry I didn't mention that before). Also sorry I can not provide more info other than replying yo your ?'s. The boss didn't want to use the file I have from a previous employer, so other drafter picked apart the date stamp from another dwg, but now guess who gets to fix it
Even though I remember there was a setting my previous boss had to do on other systems to get it to work
    Any/All Ideas appreciated
    Thanks Again
P.S. Sorry didn't mean to leave Carl out, not being a reptile and all
    Thanks Carl
