EmperorJayP
I am trying to do a quick calculation to find out how much fill is needed for my yard. I've drawn the volume with lines and plotting the points and I've also made 3dfaces. How do I calculate the volume? How do I convert it to a solid? I'm using AutoCAD 2010 for reference. Thanks, Jay Home Fill.dwg
hoss
i don't know if you have done you drawin in mm or any other units, but this is the number i have 95602.6293 Simply draw a cube starting from the lowest cornerto cover your drawing. then move ucs by 3p and slice all sides as needed to get the shape you need. then use massprop to get volume of the solid shape.
