    Default whats WIDTH and HALFWIDTH in pline???

    hi, i would like to know what is the WIDTH and HALFWIDTH options in the polyline menu.. i tried reading about it in the Help menu but i didnt understand ...im using auotocad 2010

    Although I've known of the Halfwidth option I can honestly say I've never had occasion to use it. Most users I know set the Width of the polyline.

    Width = Edge to edge distance.
    Halfwidth = Center to edge distance.

    That is a part of the decades old Multi-stroking system for a P-line. You need to set up width of outer line to get it to work OK or it will automatically choose a linewidth for you. Most folks ignor this last mentioned feature.

    Go as Mark mentioned for now.
