extract coordinates

i can extract x,y,z coordinates of a model using EATTEXT(data extraction) but when i use or open (plot) the extracted data using another software (such as tecplot). the original drawing can not be constructed because the autocad will order coordinates when extract them. is there any way (or lisp) to extract the coordinates so that it is possible to get the original drawing when opening it in another graphical software ?

thanks a bunch

thanks for the info Mr. Lee,

by the way, when I use your program to extract coordinates of a mesh vertices into a file, how can i determine which point in the meshes which will be the first point to extract?
