tgm4548 Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 AUTOCAD 2010 windows 7 i started messin around with the viewing cube and all of the sudden autocad won't zoom to where my cursor is. it will only zoom to the middle of the screen. also when i do the zoom window command my crosshair becomes free and rotates. does anyone know why autocad is flipping out and acting like this? ReMark Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 Quit the drawing without saving it. Exit AutoCAD. Spell your full name backwards out loud. Start AutoCAD back up. Zlep92 Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 I would also like to see a solution to this problem. It happens all the time when I use Autocad 3D. However, never an issue in 2D drawing mode. Closing and calling up the same drawing doesnt solve it unfortunately. TGM4548: Did you ever find a solution to this problem? ReMark Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 For the OP it must have apparently worked because he never came back to complain it didn't. In this case it was an OIE (Operator Induced Error) that solved itself after closing the file then AutoCAD down then reversing the procedure. Your problem is different it seems.
