arspi
Is there a method or a lisp to make an automatic surface outer boundary from the most external points in Civil 3d 2010 ? Thank you in advance.
sinc
You might think so, but no, there isn't. As one option, you can use the "Maximum Triangle Length" feature to get something close, then extract the automatic boundary and tweak it further. I put together a brief video demonstration of the technique. Just remember to save often with this technique, as there are memory leaks in the program. It takes a while, but the tools that add and remove polyline PIs will eventually crash C3D, due to the leaks (at least in C3D 2009).
