JerryG
Just wondering if anyone does this? I occasionally work with HecRas data from the Core of Eng. and would like to import the data created from HecRas into Autocad. Also wondering if it is possible to export X and Y values into HecRas:unsure: I know I can use a program such as rivercad to achieve this but really dont want to spend $2500 to do it:)
lpseifert
If you are under subscription, I think there is an extension available. I know I downloaded it for 2009 C3D. I never used it, but I think it will export data for use in HecRas- I don't think you are able to do the reverse. The filename is hecras_2009.exe, if that helps your search. Look here http://civil3drocks.blogspot.com/2008/10/using-hec-ras-extension-for-civil-3d.html http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/download.asp?fileID=
JerryG
Thanks LP I think I had looked at that and your right it only exports data into Hec Ras format not Vic versa. Although it has been ahwile so I think I will play with it again for 2010 and see if they have made any other changes. For anyone who is looking - you can download "RasPlot" insert Hecras data into it then convert to a autocad dwg from there.
