tonika
Hi, I scaled down an object and am dimensioning it but can’t find broken line that will have appropriate length of segments for the scaled down drawing. I looked at all available Linetypes and even the .5x doesn’t work (segments look to long). Does anyone have an idea of how to go about that problem? Thank you. CarlB
Change the object's linetype scale to whatever value you wish.

BIGAL
Just a bit extra its pretty easy to copy an existing line type in the acad.lin file and make it what you want give it a new name . A dashed line is basicly the length of the line and how much gap so if you look at dashed A, 12.7, -6.35 its saying draw a line 12.7 long and start next gap from middle as spacing, heres a equal equal linetype A,0.30,-0.30 just play with the numbers one at a time and you can have a linetype that is always at a scale of 1. highway linemarking A,3.00,-9.
tonika
Thanks I have to try this one. It seems a bit more work but I can create custom linetypes.
