    Default Text spacing

How do you, in AutoCAD 2000, change the text spacing of just one entity without modefying the text style?

To be more clear... I want the width between the letters to change.

I hope I was clear enough.

I imagine it has to do with the width factor but that does not seem to help.

Without changing the style....hmmmmm....put spaces between the characters?

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with

You can adjust the spacing between the lines of text but not between the letters themselves. The spaces between letters are defined by the font definitions.
AutoCAD is a CAD program ~ not a word processor, and doesn't support kerning or whatever it is called., So your only options are to enter each letter individually and space as required, write your own font definition or live with it
