What is Layer "0" and Layer "Defpoints"?

There really is no good reason to put anything on the Defpoints layer that doesn't belong there since the introduction of being able to set a layer to "no print" in the Layer Property Manager.

Yes sir. Did not mean to put viewport layer. Just meant viewport. You link was spot on. Looks like I just repeated what was already said.

Then that has changed over the years. Pre A2K everything is visible. I did write that a long time ago. -David

 

Just opened 2002 and checked it out, can confirm that the defpoints dots on dimensions continued to show whether the layer was frozen, turned off, or both.
