Hi ,

I'm trying to copy/paste an object into a other drawing. Its text in a block.

In the block editor I have like '' 1-NUMBER''. The number follow but the ''1-'' doesnt.

Here's the message : '' _pasteclip Duplicate definition of block NUMEROP ignored.''

THIS IS ONLY HAPPEN in one specific drawing. Guss I have a option to OFF or something.

Thanks for your help

In the drawing that you are trying to paste into, delete the block, be sure that there are no versions in your drawing on other layers that may be turned off. Purge the drawing and be sure that the block that you are trying to paste in is in the list of blocks to be purged. Then paste your block from your source drawing.

The other thing that you can try is to type BATTMAN and sync the block that you have just pasted to the drawing. It sounds like there is an older version in the drawing already and the new version that you paste in is not redefining the existing blocks.

Thanks,

I tried both of your solution, none worked.

I finaly decided to start in a new .dwg and WBLOCKing what I need.

But still have sometimes those bugs like : copy/paste a block to a other drawing and missing parts OR/AND it change the scale...
