\\shorty//
When snapping a line onto a another line using the perpendicular snap tool, I am not getting a 90 degree snap, more like mid 80s? Am i doing something wrong? Help please Thanks
ReMark
And you know this because you measured the actually angle or are you just "eyeballing" it? Is the line you are trying to snap perpindicular to at an odd angle (something other than truely horizontal or vertical)? Have you changed the value of SNAPANG recently? ReMark
I just tried to duplicate your problem using six lines at six different angles and I was able to snap perpindicular to each and every one. Experiment failed. Post the drawing. We'll take a look at it.
lpseifert
Is the line you are snapping to in the same plane as the current UCS? Try drawing a line from 0,0,0 to 100,100,100. Then start a line and snap perp to to the line you just drew. In some plane (UCS) it is perpendicular, it just doesn't appear that way in the view you are looking at it.
