Copac
Could anyone please tell me is it possible to convert AutoCad file to type .csv file? (I'm using AutoCad 2005) I need to export data so I can add additional survey data to an existing AutoCad file. I wish to export to my survey program 'Geosite' in order to re-triangulate, so that my contour lines will marry between exixting and new data thanks in advance
ReMark
You can output extracted data from a CAD drawing file using the comma separated (cvs) format.
Copac
Can you give me a step by step guide on how to do this?
ReMark
AutoCAD 2008 I see. Then you have access to the Data Extraction Wizard. Why don't you consult your AutoCAD Help files first then return here with any followup questions. It is pretty self-explanatory and the process is pretty straightforward.
