Exploding Mtext makes result scaled down and thrown across the screen

Greetings,

I am not what you would call a noob but I am self taught. This being said, I have been playing with Autocad for about 8 years now and I use it daily at work.

I am trying to explode some text using txtexp. When I do that, it does explode but it scales it to just over 1/25th the size and sends it off to the upper right of the screen.

This doesn't happen EVERY time but there is no rhyme or reason to it. I tired Autocad 2004, 2006, and 2007. I tried individual texts and multiple.

Here is a couple photos of the issue:

BEFORE

AFTER - You can see the text in the upper right corner as a bit of a white blur

It's not. Doh, I didn't even pay attention to what version you were running. I'm dumb.

Could you get away with exploding the text the executing TXTEXP?

Thats what I used.

I tried just x and I tried the Express, Text, Explode Text (which I think is the same as TXTEXP)

No, I mean to just EXPLODE the MText first (becomes Text). Then TXTEXP them.

Ok, when I EXPLODE the MText, it turns it into the Standard style. I changed the style to the font I want and used the TXTEXP command but it does the exact same thing.
