How can I scale a view port

And from the Command Line:

 

Command: [i]zoom[/i]

Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (nX or nXP), or

[All/Center/Dynamic/Extents/Previous/Scale/Window/Object] <real time>: [i].5xp[/i]

this seems the easiest way, do I just use the decimal equivalent as the scale factor?

i.e 1/4 scale would be .25xp

2 times scale would be 2xp????

Yes, but you could also enter the scale factor ratio:

 

1/4xp = .25xp

and

2/1xp = 2xp
