ACAD09: Options-Display Resolution-Arc & Circle Smoothness (always set to 1000)

Hi:

I have a question about the arc and circle smoothness setting always staying at 1000 every time I open a new drawing. I saved a profile to my desktop with all my user preferences (.arg file) and in that profile I thought it stored my changed display resolution of 500. It's annoying! Is there a way for ACAD to see or load my preferences every time? Thanks in advance!

Set WHIPARC to 1. It is saved in the Registry.

Oops. May not apply to 2009. You'll have to continue to use Viewres. Sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply ReMark, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. Every time I open a drawing I want the arc and circle smoothness under display resolution under options to be the set value I previously set it at (example: 500) instead of the default 1000. I hope that explains my situation better.

Quoting my own post here. I found the answer myself, so here are two links for those cad users who may have the same problem down the road.

My apologies. I was very frustrated with the rule. If there is a way to fix things, I usually find it. I didn't want to spend the time to write a note to an admin for permission to paste a link. I'm sure you understand. Thanks for being a nice person.
