Reinstalled Windows 7, driver , office 2007 basic, Autocad LT 2010 and everything works fine.

Added:

- Vlc 1.0.5

- K-lite Codec pack full

- Pdf Creator

- Pdf Fill (free tools)

- Acrobat Reader

- Acrobat Flash player

The problem comes back... properties window has render problems. :x

Restarted from zero I missed to install Acrobat Flash player so with all others programs installed Autocad works correctly.

Then I have installed Acrobat Flash player and the problem reappers. :?

I am trying to uninstall Flash player but to delete the problem I used Restore options of S.O.

I don't know if the problem is caused by flash player... i will test it on a new laptop dell (vostro 1520)

Here 2 screen video capture:

1. NO problems: (ex. without graphic card driver)

http://uploading.com/files/m1c415c4/noDriver.flv/

the properties window has a fluid movement.

2. With render problems:

http://uploading.com/files/bbmm8a39/withDriver.flv/

the scroll is slow down, there are render problems on the fields Arrow1 and Arrow2. It Seems like this fields have bad focus requests.

Many thanks!

i wasn't aware that one could "render" in AutoCAD LT.

I believe he is refering to the generic "Render" speed of the properties window itself.

som,

I am not sure what those two links are illustrating.

I am using AutoCAD LT 2009 and I had a somewhat less extent of the same problem.

Here is another suggestion. The properties sheet is just another "Menu" in the AutoCAD "Window" The display of the menu panels in any Windows compatible program is managed by the OS, or Windows itself.

Go into your Windows customization features using Control Panel or whatever the heck WIndows 7 calls it. (I have not seen 7 yet, and it was NOT my idea. :))

Change your Menu display preferences. Get rid of all that fancypants Fade, Slide, Fold, sparkle and shine stuff. Just fix it so ALL your menus just POP into view when you click on a toolbar item.

That may help speed up the display of the properties sheet and probably any other auxiliary window AutoCAD (and all other programs) has.

On the first laptop I have installed Flash player and all is right.

:?

I didn't modify window graphic features.

I don't know who was the cause of problem.

When there are the properties menu window' s render problems the draw's translation is slower than normal.

No.

I'm saying that when the properties window slides slowly, the draw's translation is slowly too (properties window closed or not, it's the same).

Now both works.... but I don't know why before they didn't work.

I guess that's the end of that then isn't it?

Well I'm glad to hear the problem is no more. Too bad we don't know why it happened or how it sorted itself out. Unfortunately I think you'll be back with the same problem somewhere down the road though. See you then.

No, the end is near... but isn't now.

After a windows update (for Remote Desktop) and the installation of Flash Player ActiveX 10 the problem is still here.

System Recovery to a day before these intallations and all works.

See you then! :)

I installed Autocad 2010 full on a new windows 7 notebook and I found the same problem.

:o

Following the Dana W 's hints I found that the problem is fixed if I deselect a property of Visual Effects ( under Performance Options) -> Enable Desktop Composition

If this option is deselected, with or without flash Active X, I have not problem.

I will do more tests! :D
