I was reading somewhere that you could use Blender as a replacment for Cad, if its true is there a plug in to allow it to use Acad 04 files?

Blender is not a replacement for AutoCAD but if your requirements are more 3DS MAX, then it may be good for you.
Tip: Please do not PM or email me with CAD questions - use the forums, you'll get an answer sooner.
