    Default drawing text on round solid

    drawing text on round solid (ie. sphere) Any ideas??

    Do it in a graphic, and apply it as a material.. but that assumes you're going to render it.

    Depends.

    You could do it as Mike suggests above. Is that the look you're going for?

    Did you want the text raised above or depressed below the surface of the sphere? That will take a different approach.

    when i try to even draw objects to imprint on the "sphere" it never ends up directly on the face always in front or inside??( ducs is off)
    ...Also how would the body of the text be able to follow the arc sweep of the sphere??? thanks for all your help!!

    Doesn't matter - simply extrude into the sphere or move into the sphere.

    Autodesk Inventor would be one solution.
