possible to create dynamic block for 3d obj??

i tried to create a dynamic block for a 3d object. It is a simple access panel that i want to rotate about the front ucs to open it away from base object, but when i tried making this dynamic block the only option is top ucs and view?? any ideas?? thanks for any help!!

I went to an AUGI camp last year, and discussed it with one of their people. At that point in time no was the answer. It had to do with how many variables got thrown into the mix once you get into 3-d. Although it may be something we see in the future.

It is possible. I've made a dynamic block for a pair of 3D side mounted ball bearing drawer slides, and it works like a charm. I can adjust the mounting height, the width between the slides, and the extension length all with one block. I think the only thing you can't do with a solid in a dynamic block is change the size of the solid. All move/rotate/array options should work though.

If you want to be flexable with 3d solid try to learn lisp..

I had the same problem for dynamic cabinets I found the solition in LISP
