Perpendicular on Given Polyline with given segment

Hi,

 

I want to make a perpendicular line on given Poly line. How can I do this using Lisp.

and I repeat this following given segment length.

see example as attached

white object represent my polyline

cross divide our object into segments

yellow lines are the perpendicular on my object(make these fexed length yellow lines using lisp).

You could just make a block out of the line and use Measure

If the task is over, I just think that fairly standard commands Measure

There you go, Geobuilder even gave you a step by step example for Measure.

No problem. :)

However, I think I was a bit hasty in posting my Lisp routine. I would strongly suggest you follow my first and Geobuilder's suggestion and use, or at least learn to properly use Measure.

 

I didn't realize you created this in the Beginners area.
