Remove(erase) an object from DWG using DotNet

I have the code to create my line and add it to the drawing database using a transaction; however, now I need to remove that obect from the drawing.

How do I go about this?

do I use:

LineObj.Erase()

Or since I added it to the ModelSpace blocktablerecord with:

lineObj.SetDatabaseDefaults()

lineObj.StartPoint = New Point3d(adStartPoint(0), adStartPoint(1), adStartPoint(2))

lineObj.EndPoint = New Point3d(adEndPoint(0), adEndPoint(1), adEndPoint(2))

blkTableRec.AppendEntity(lineObj)

trans.AddNewlyCreatedDBObject(lineObj, True)

Is there a similar method for removing objects?

Or does LineObj.Erase() suffice?
