SFG13
Hi, I forgot how to change the dimensions on a drawing like from decimal to fractions for ex. R1.5000 to R11/2? Do I use dimstyles or do I just right click on the dimension and select properties? What are the steps to make it work?
lpseifert
One way... Modify the Dimstyle's Primary Units to Architectural and use Dimension > Update. or... Create a new Dimstyle, select the Dimension and in Properties change the Dimstyle to the new. or... Select the Dimension and in Properties change to what you want in the Text Override box. nukecad
You are better changing then to a new dimstlye. To change existing dimensions create a new dimstyle giving fraction output, select the dimensions you want to change and then use properties to change their dimension style. If you just change the output in properties and not the style then what you are doing is creating an 'override' to the existing style. lpseifert beat me to it.
