gt9550a Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 I am exporting dxfs to an application that is importing the lines and blocks based on their layers. I just found out that the order in which the lines and blocks are drawn depends on the layer number - 0 is drawn 1st, 1 is drawn 2nd, etc. Is there any way other than renaming all of my layers to force lines to be drawn before blocks (and therefore always have blocks on top, which is the desired effect) by forcing the layers to a particular order? We have a lot of layers and the names were all chosen by our end user so I hate to change them. Send to front/back will not work because of the application that is reading the data.
