deejay500sl
Hi, I'm using AutoCad LT 2000, I'm not very experienced. I have 2 lines on top of each other, in different color's black and green. The black line I want to keep and delete the green, but if I select the line and press the delete the black line will be deleted and the green stays. Is there a way to select which line can be deleted? Thanks
alanjt
Older versions: Holding the control key down will allow you to cycle through a selection. Versions 09 and on, use shift+space bar.

ReMark
You can avoid the problem in the first place with the efficient use of layers. Thus, two lines, of the same length, occupying the same space can be isolated by turning off or freezing the layer of one or the other line. It also helps if you do not override layer colors thus ending up with duplicate geometry on the same layer each displayed in a different color.
