longweight
Hi, myself and a number of colleagues have recently upgraded to 2010 LT on Windows 7 64bit. quite regularly after saving a drawing and then exiting AutoCAD crashes. It can cause real problems when working with 2 or 3 drawings open as it looses any unsaved work! Does anybody know what could be causing this? Does SP1 cover this fault? I'ev had a read through of what it fixes but I can't see this problem mentioned. Thanks LW
ReMark
I would load the update even if it doesn't mention the problem. Are all the drawing files on a network?
longweight
They are, usually less than 5Mb in size. We never had this problem on XP with AutoCAD 2005 LT. We are having issues with the subscription service at moment but I hope that won't affect the SP update.
ReMark
Updates are available to everyone. Subscriptions get you the "bonus" stuff. There should be no problem downloading the update. Is this a network deployment as well?
longweight
Ok I'll download it in a minute The drawings are stored on the network but the AutoCAD Licence is per terminal not on the network
longweight
Ok so I tried the update and apparently my current versions of AutoCAD is up to date....
ReMark
Have you tried working directly off your hard drive?
longweight
I haven't as we only store files on the server to ensure that everyone can access the latest version. I've installed SP2 and it doesn't fix the problem...
ReMark
Well you should probably try it just the same. Maybe it is a network problem?
