Hi

I download object offset LISP program; this one working as fig. 2 (sample drawing), anyone can modify as per fig.3 (offset distance at 4 sides).

Plz find sample.dwg zip file

The file is corrupt, but I can see what LISP routine you are referring to. Why didn't you just propose this question in the original thread where I posted the LISP?

For what you are asking, it would just make more sense to draw a pLine connecting the outermost 4 endpoints of your 2 blocks, then offset. A routine is not required. However, one could be written to do this, but to modify my existing OffsetConnect would be asking for too many parameters.

 

To write: I'd just have it pick 3 points then specify the offset distance.

 

My little girl and I are going out for pancakes, but I'll be back later and if time permits, give it a go.

Do you realize that in the two and a half years you've been a member here, almost all of your posts are comprised of LISP routine requests. At this point in time, you should be overly proficient in LISP programming. You've been a member here almost as long as I've been programming with LISP.

 

I'm not trying to be rude, but it seems like you need to take some time and learn to program. What you are asking isn't too terribly difficult (I wrote it in less than 10 minutes). Give it a shot.
