I was wondering how to make an animation of my parts (in an assembly) exploding and then coming back together. I am using SW 09

In your assembly on the Assembly tab of the ribbon up top there is an Exploded View button. This will let you move components in order. Once you set up an explosion you can animate that and save the animation. During the Save animation dialog it will have an option to use the solidworks screen or to use the Photoworks buffer. If you start photoworks and set up your scene, materials and so on before hand, the animation will be higher quality and actually renders.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
