stensq
I have a fairly basic model sitting on a slab with a grass material applied to it, and 8 camera's placed around the structure all at the same height and with the same lens length. However while rendering the scene's from the camera views, some of them do not show the grass material or only partially show it, (see attached images) any help or ideas? MikeScott
Could it be the "reflection" and "roughness" values conspiring to show the color instead of the material? Set the reflection color to another green tint, perhaps? I would add the grass in "post" (ie- in an image editor, after-the-fact), if it still gives you trouble. Or make it part of the background. stensq
Yes applying the grass material post process may be an answer, however if it was the reflection or roughness values, or any other settings for that matter, surely it would be a uniform defect, I don't understand why this is only happening from certain angles/camera's
MikeScott
The relative angle from lightsource, to the object, to the camera would change it.
