IronHorse
Hi people told me it It should be much easier to subract parts from each other (without using derived component) If I have two blocks mated to each other and a cylinder passing throug both of them, how do I make the cylinder to cut through both parts so It would be a hole? JD Mather
Multi-body solids. You can then push out to individual parts and assembly if needed (Manage tab).
MarkFlayler
You can also use Copy Object and Sculpt. or Multibody Solids (like JD mentioned and one of my favorites) or Adaptive Modeling with or without links to parts

JD Mather
... but where do I find Multi Body Solids? There is an on-line class covering mutli-body solids here http://au.autodesk.com Probably something in the Help>Learning Resources>Tutorials as well.
