User Experience Level in AutoCAD 2010

Alright, I'm going absolutely insane - or did I dream this:

Isn't there a way to tell AutoCAD what experience level you are? I remember typing in a command and entering a number that signified my "user level" so I didn't get pop-ups about this and that...

Sorry for sounding so vague, but does anyone recall this command?

the system variable Expert maybe?

Wouldn't an "expert" know that?

Better type in expert, hit Enter and then F1. Do a bit of reading.

The mind...it is terribly wasted.

Tell me about it, a year goes by since I last setup my AutoCAD; hard drive fails and have to go through re-installing everything and all my settings are gone... and here I am trying to remember everything
