TOwhite
ok, i am doing a cable run/layout for upcoming construction on a hospital and they sent me the drawings to do with whatever i want to. in this particular dwg i am doing a ceiling speaker cable route. there is a layer for them and they are turned on. all i have to do is connect them together and show which hub room they go to. the problem is when i view all the different layeouts of the dwg i can see them, but when i try and view the entire floor they dont show up and thats what i need to see. the different layouts are small sections of the floor and i need an entire view to show which way my cables are gona run. the layer is turned on but i just cant see it unless i pick the sectioned other layouts. help please!! thanks
SPARKY77
It may be that the layer is turned off on that particuler viewport.
Picky87
Sparky77 sounds right, check out your layer properties manager and scroll along to the column Named VP Freeze and check that it's thawed
ziemerd
I've had trouble with having layers turned on but not showing up. What I do is to turn the layer off and then back on and the objects become visible. Also try typing REGEN.
