M76 Posted May 26, 2010 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Ok, this is really weird. I have a set of drawings If I select the objects in one. (there are only simple lines in the drawings, nothing else, no blocks or other complex objects) and put them on the clipboard. Then I insert them into a new empty drawing. Then it creates a new layer that isn't even in the source drawing. The new layer is not visible when created, there are no objects in it, and it cannot be removed. The question is where does it come from, and how to get rid of it? Edit: Sorry, it turns out, the drawing template was the problem, not the drawing itself.
