AutoCAD window start to "hang" at startup.

I use AutoCAD 2011 for few weeks now.

After a few days ago it became unstable, the program start to "hang" at startup.

The status bar, on the bottom of the AutoCAD window, "hang" on 39%.

The OS (Windows 7) state that there is no responding from the program.

I read all the forums I found on this issue, among them was an article published by Autodesk support, ID: TS1076266 from 2007-Oct-29, its about "Program appears to freeze or hang during startup".

This article is for AutoCAD 2008 but it looks the same on 2011.

I have tried every solution I saw on the forums and on this article, like "un-checking for publisher's certificate revocation", re-install, repair etc…

How can I solve this problem? There is no way to open the AutoCAD at all.

I will be grateful for any help regarding this matter.

My PC spec. is:

Windows 7 x64 ultimate

AutoCad 2011 x64

GPU – fx 1800

CPU – i7-960

RAM – 6Gb

Thank you in advanced

Keren

The post you are responding to is over a year old and the person who posted never returned to CT and posted anything else again as evidenced by the post count of "1". I don't think keren84 is going to respond any time soon. I hope you have a lot of patience.

I suggest you start your own new thread and provide all your pertinent details. By the way, your computer details say Windows Vista while Keren's list Windows 7. I'm assuming there are some other differences too.

they have used AutoCAD for a week and then this error occurs.. we are now working on its hardware and will try to evaluate if this maybe the cause of the hang-ups.. i'm praying that we can solve it by this procedure. because its been punishing us for almost a month.. i'll update you if we solve it..

Look for the WSCommCntr2.exe in the Windows Task Manager. Mine was doing this and killing this process seemed to fix it for me.

Acad 2011 and Win Vista here
