Default Fatal Error: AutoCAD LT Error Aborting

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

When I am in paper space and click on the viewport, then right click and select properties.... I get this:

    Fatal Error: AutoCAD Error Aborting
Fatal Error: Unhandled c0000096h Exception at 430082h

Don't understand why this happens everytime with every drawing.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

I think you're the second person to report this type of problem in two days.

Is your version of LT up-to-date with all service packs?

This didn't happen to occur on Tuesday or shortly thereafter?

It actually occurred last week for the first time that I noticed on this computer. Just started working with this AutoCAD version and never saw it with others I have used. The company I work for said it is up to date and just recently installed on my computer.

I thought it might be tied to the weekly downloads Microsoft sends out to address software (OS) problems. Some systems don't take kindly to the changes. You could test this theory out if you could roll back your system to a date just prior to when the problem occured. This can be done through System Restore.

If that isn't an option then my next suggestion would be to try the Repair option found in the Windows Control Panel under Add/Remove Software.
