Reply With QuoteWell in 2000i I tried it and after selecting (double-click) the symbol I hit the copy button and then closed the window. Then in the mtext editor I right clicked in the text box and selected paste and then OK and there it was on screen. Hope this helps.

How can I insert in my drawing the capital omega Greek symbol?
I have some text in a word document containing this symbol. I saved it as RTF format. In AutoCAD 2000 I typed MTEXT and in the editor I pressed the Import Text button. In the Mtext editor the omega symbol is displayed correct. But after I press OK and the mtext is placed in the drawing all the omega symbols are replaced by question marks. I set in the textstyle the TAHOMA fonts because the RTF document uses this font but the problem is still unsolved.
In the windows character map the code for omega is 03A9 –this means 937 in decimal. Replacing in the mtext editor the omega with %%937 I got this characters in my mtext.
