AutoCAD 2010 - Open Drawing Tabs

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

In AutoCAD 2008 (pre-ribbon) open drawings are displayed as tabs along the top of the "model/paper space screen" and below the toolbars and menu pulldowns. I have shown an image here of where I am describing, but I don't have 2008 installed an longer and cannot do a screenshot of it exactly.

Anyhow, I was told by my CAD manager, who is, unfortunately for me, no longer contactable, that these open drawing "tabs" could be switched on/off in 2010. Can anyone advise me on how to achieve this?

Thanks, in anticipation of your response(s).

Ryan.

That wasn't a built-in functionality of AutoCAD, it was an add-on. Check this thread please.

Thanks, again.

For those who may be interested, I'd like to post the link to the add-on I found, which is compatible with AutoCAD 2010, but the anti-spam settings of this forum are preventing me from currently doing so. I will be back later to update. Cheers.

That is correct. This is my 9th post, and after this I should be able to post the link.
