JoeC
I must be making this way harder than it should be! If I check the properties or "list" a multiline, I get nothing. I don't want to explode the Mline just to see the length. This defeats the purpose of using an Mline (I think). Please enlighten me. Thanks
Tiger
the command DIST? Or draw a polyline along the MLine and pull properties on that. There is also a lisp here somewhere for an augmented Dist where you can get ackumulative distances, I can find it for you if you want it. JoeC
Thanks, Tiger. I guess DIST is really the only practical method. I'm drawing a steel support structure with various lengths of cross members. I prefer to use "steel shapes" from the content menu in Acad Mechanical, but our company "standard" is to use multilines. This makes it very difficult to catalog the lengths of each piece.
