I have a detail in a PDF I want to import into my cad dwg. How can I do this? It won't open in paint to save as.

There are quite a few programmes out ther that will convert PDFs to Autocad .DWGs, with varying degrees of succes depending on what you want to pay.

Try googeling 'pdf2dwg' and see which one you fancy.

I have used the 30 day trial of 'pdffly' which did a not too bad job.

Thank you for the information. I wound up drawing the detail, but I'll check out the info.

pdf2cad works but, not an excellent output.

There is a trial at www.pdf2cad.com available.
